There are no trees by the barn, but tons surrounding their paddocks so to me, its more risky to keep them outside. Telling everyone to keep their horses inside regardless of their circumstances is very bad advice. All horse owners should make the decision whether to keep them out or not based on their own situation, not someone else telling them what to do.

Yeah of course, It does depend on what seroundings other people have around their barn :) All you can do is try and be safe...yah see my barn has tree's around it and in the paddocks they don't have big tree's or old tree's that would fall and injure themselves. But around our barn we do, so there fore we keep our horses outside.
