    Talking Storm watch

What would you do if there was a great big storm coming your way. Would you put them inside the barn. No. Most definitely not, just a warning to make sure you have the supplies you need on this big storm. Keep your horse/s outside invade of serious injury .you don't have to do what I'm saying right now. It is just my opinion :) go give your horses love! <3

Don't worry, I follow my OWN experience and advice for what to do to keep my horses safe during a big storm. Mine have been in since Sunday evening, and will be in until tomorrow morning.

I agree. It all depends on your area as to whether to keep the horses inside or turn them out, as well as personal preference. Personally, I like the horses inside. There are no trees by the barn, but tons surrounding their paddocks so to me, its more risky to keep them outside. Plus, if we have to leave in a hurry, I like the fact that I can walk into their stall and lead them out instead of having to chase them around the paddock while their in a panic.
Telling everyone to keep their horses inside regardless of their circumstances is very bad advice. All horse owners should make the decision whether to keep them out or not based on their own situation, not someone else telling them what to do.

Yeah of course, It does depend on what seroundings other people have around their barn :) All you can do is try and be safe...yah see my barn has tree's around it and in the paddocks they don't have big tree's or old tree's that would fall and injure themselves. But around our barn we do, so there fore we keep our horses outside.
