When I was around 12 years old me and girl who I used to be friends with brought me to this barn that was up the street from her house. After that I started going there all of the time. I had long talks with her owner, and fell in love with the most beautiful horse ever. Her name was Ebony. I used to go out and do groundwork with her all the time. Her owner was a pastor and was always very busy working at the church. She didn't have much time for Ebony and the other horse. Around this time I had been going out there for around 2 years, still very much in love with that horse I had met 2 years before. I had wanted her ever since I first met her. I never wanted to pursue asking to buy her though. I didn't think my parents would ever let me get a horse. So know we are up to present time. Last Sunday her owner texted me and asked if I would like to buy her, obviously I asked my mom what she though. She told me to text her and ask how much she wanted her for. $400 for the horse that I loved so much, that's how much she wanted. We asked her if she could hold until Friday and she said that she could. We called around 4 different boarding places asking if they could take her, none of them had enough room. My mom was convinced that her owner was my moms childhood friends, moms, best friend. (confusing right?) Turns out she was. The next day after having talked to her old friends mom, she called her back. She told my mom that God had told her that Ebony needed to be with me. She bought me the horse. I had also gone over to Ebony's owners house that week and she had told me pretty much the same thing. God had told her that Ebony needed me and I needed her. I believe that it's the most true statement I had ever heard. We are just searching for the best place to keep her, at least until we can find her forever home. God gave her to me, the best thing that I could have ever asked for. Thank you for reading.
