Smile Strange nicknames for your horses

Lottie often gets called 'you big turnip', and I never call Tazz by his name, he always gets called 'sexy man' :')

This also extends to my guinea pigs, I have one called Robin who gets called Chubbs/Chubba/Fattybumbum/Stinky/Baby, all in a very affectionate way, I love his podge :')

So yeah, does anyone else do this or is it just me?

Mount up and leave your troubles behind on the ground.

Abby gets called Fatty all the time. She's not even fat anymore. She had a rather stressful winter and lost 100lbs (1100lbs now! ). But she knows her name is Abby and can't hear the difference between the two. Bahaha.

You aren't the only one :)

My gray mare is Lacey Loo on good days and Lacey Lucifer on bad ones. Our oldest stud Hondo is more often than not called the old fart. My mare Buttons answers to Mama B (she's had lots of babies) Woodstock knows he's being froggy when I call him "Buster" that started early when I got him and he was very dominant and he came at me and I responded as the alpha and growled "Back it off buster!" with the correction. Dynasty gets called Doo most of the time, a shortened version of Dynasty-Doo (my sister started calling him that as a weanling, not sure why. My filly is Pella, usually Pella Pie, sometimes Pella P*#sy Pants when she's rotten...and my hubby's dog Dell has earned the name "Smelly Delly" from my daughter - he likes to swim in the pond and then roll in horse manure.

Mine often gets presto questo, bad baby, and crazy (jokingly, of course) due to his uncanny houdini-like abilities. When I first got him, he got a lot of bad baby, butthead, and wall (i didn't have a barn name for him yet, lol). That should tell you all you need to know about when I first got him.

Lol Nikki gets called Nic, Nuhnuh (she likes this one).Sweet, shakemybutt (by our friends cause when she trots she's really sassy and swings her butt)..and finally Noodle..when we show everyone I run with calls her Noodle. It starts cause she gets all wiggly Gettin ready to run??

Hickory though has a ton of nicknames..Hick, Man, Fatty, he hears" AHHH" alot when he is doing something wrong and I can't reach him so now he comes to that lol..frog, frogger, guy, fat man..and my personal favorite when he is being truly unpleasant is Sh*t eater..lol everyone knows who im talking about when I call him that. He comes to it..like when I just gave him a bath and he runs out to his favorite mud spot and rolls he gets" Ahhhhhh!! You Sh*tEater!!! And he jumps up happy, looks at me and runs away pleased with himself..
