I would say so, a week to 10 days on the transition. My vet tells me that is plenty on transition from hay to grass in the spring so I'm sure thats goes for any feeds.
I think when its Sat. here its Sun. there so you have less time than you think

Yippie *grinning ear to ear* So happy for you and your boy. Whats his name? I don't think you ever said or I forgot
Glad your trip was safe and he is happily back where he belongs. He looks pretty good to me. Bet I know what you will be doing Monday.

well i couldnt help myself. he seemed so calm and settled that i decided to have a teeny ride :) we did nothing much cause its been raining AGAIN and now theres a raging river out in the paddock AGAIN so we just plodded around the yard. i am getting so sick of riding in the yard grrr :) anyways, just thought id share a few more pics

first he had a bath (dont ask me why i did it first  )

then we had a walk and a trot...er, pace i mean grrr dont know why but he would only pace today. oh and of course, he had to go around the poo pile :)

thats my niece in the photo with me and cougs :) she thinks shes a good little rider hehehe :)
