Tell About your Day at the Barn =]

We did this on another forum, and it turned out to be pretty popular =D

Tell us about your day at the barn.

Last night I had a lesson. We worked on jumping two jumps in a figure eight, and then we narrowed down the turns and worked on jumper turns. It was so fun. Bam-Bam was amazing. =D He was really hyper, and got a little excited. I love when he gets excited to jump =D

How was your day at the barn?

I was once at another forum and this was really popular and fun!

Today I only had a couple of hours there So I went and just swept some areas that needed to be swept then took out Scotty who needed to be lunged so I lunged him and then grabbed the brat (my pony) and started to lunge him but I got sick of the attitude he was showing so I put him in the round pin and made him run in there. After that my dog, the brat and me went on a small walk down the bridle path.

Mine was the epitome of uneventful (which is awesome, as surprises + horses = disaster!)

Went out, tossed some hay in the stalls, went out and cleaned up the loose hay from around the round-bail, and scoured the pasture with a manure fork to grind out all the poop to make some nice fertilizer out in the field. Cleaned the stalls, curried the horses to ensure their coats wouldn't bind up and get grunky or rain-roty. Then took them out one by one to spend time with them out of the stalls, letting them graze on the greener grass outside the barn while on the lead.

I love visiting the kids <3

I am going to go visit Dreamer tomorrow <3
