Are there any Pony Clubbers out there??

I was just wondering if there were any fellow Pony Club members, no matter what country!

Im a member of the US Pony Club, and its always cool when you can find others who are involved in it as well.

Hi!

I'm in Pony Club in the US. My region is White Mountain. I just came back from the regions end-of-the-year banquet actually.

I used to be a PCer too!

I got to C3, but it got too politcal at that level, and it wasn't fun anymore, so I left and went independant.

I am a Pony Clubber. Well, I'm not sure if I am staying in it. It so so political, if it weren't for friends, there's NO WAY I'd stay in it.

I used to be.

It was a ton of fun, but my little Paint was having trouble with the big solid XC jumps, by the time I got around to getting my D-3, so I dropped out. Our club mainly focused on jumping, very little dressage or games, and at the time dressage was my main thing. There were some friends horses that I could have used for it, but I just didn't find it worth it, if I couldn't do it all on my own horse.

I miss it sometimes, but I'm involved in plenty of other organizations to keep myself with things to do.
I loved the rally's, and parties, and all that fun stuff with the friends, but as others have said it gets very political, and sometimes it's enough to stop you.

I'm a member of one of my city's clubs in Qld, Australia. I've been in pony club for around 8 years now and my dad and I have held positions in each club we've been in. I'm currently first aide officer of the club I'm in now. At the moment I'm only really a member so I can go to the Pony Club State Dressage Championships.
