Is there a way to find his pedigree?

I was sold Apollo without his papers. I was shown his pedigree online and skimmed it over, but honestly I don't really care about papers or have a reason for needing them, so I didn't mind that he "lost them". He gave me the papers/info to transfer him onto my name and all of that, but I never bothered to do it because I don't want to pay a fee to do it...my trainer was curious about his papers and I said I'd try to find them, so here I am asking all of you experts for some help! So is there a way to find his pedigree online? I've been googling stuff and messing around on the APHA website but I can't quite figure it out if there is a way...

Apollo's registered name: Top of the moon flash
    Sire: Top of the moon
    Dam: Flashy snow girl

    There is allbreedpedigree.com

I just looked up your horse's name and I couldn't find it.
I found his sire's though: Top of The Moon Paint

Make sure that your horse's name is spelled right, and if its not all one word like what many names are.

    Thank you for your help.

That is how the owner spaced it on the paper to transfer things so that's what I'm going by, Top of the Moon Flash...does the capitalization change things? He gave me his sire's pedigree as well, just for me to look at I guess, and it matches up with what you posted.

    It shouldn't.

Do you by chance have the dam's pedigree? You can actually make the pedigree online from that same website. But you need both sire and dam pedigree. Or do you at least know the dam's sire and dam?

Top of the Moon Flash, Foaled April 1, 2001, APHA number is 666,266, Sire is Top of the Moon, Dam is CR Flashy Snowgirl

IF you want to pm me your reg email address I can send the pdf version since I have APHA gold I can access it :)

Oh, and if you ever do want to get him transferred you can but you have to have the current registered owner sign and notorize (or send a copy of his DL with it) an affidavit for replacement title, as well as a transfer affidavit. I recently almost had to go through the same thing with my horse because the postal service lost his papers for a period of time but then found them a month later....gotta love being able to track certified mail, huh.

I'm not sure capatalization means much, or spacing. One of the rules for names on APHA is that the name can't already be taken, and it can not be a soundalike/lookalike to another. So you won't find a horse named Snow White and then a Snowwhite, they just wont' do it. When you do a name search, or at least gold members it gives you several names that come close to the spelling you put in. I'm probably babbling too much now, but hope I answered your question.

Cinny has already given you good information, and I see added Apollo to allbreed's website. I would just really emphasize that transferring his papers is a good idea. He is still in his prime. APHA and PtHA offer some good opportunities. APHA has the PAC program to earn points for shows & events that are not APHA sanctioned. This would be good for Apollo and his future should you ever have to part with him.
Cinnys Whinny and shellybean like this.

and now I cringe at myself for using "good' so excessively. You really can tell when I'm posting quickly from the office
