They sold trigger--roy rogers museum closes

Did any one else just stare at the picture of Trigger while he was stuffed and just not believe what is happening...Im at a loss for words... And what that family is going threw must be something beyond words.

Im not 60,50,40 or even 30 years old but pass this on to your kids. It makes me sad now-a-days that all kids want is the newest,fastest, most expencive things..What ever happened to having an icon such as Roy himself, and his buddy Trigger now icons are people that can barley carry a tune, have the nicest car and no morles. I don't have the fastest and latest phone,car or computer..But this is truely makes me sad that generations below us wont have this. Pass it on to your horsey kids that care and they will keep the spark going, for those people.... and their beloved pets.... that truly made an impact

After all the correct dates of the sale and info about the Triggers I had to go back and see who in the world sent me that email. It was my aunt, another horse lover, but one who has just recently entered the computer age. She and I often rode our stick horses around Grandma's farm after we'd watched an episode on TV.

I'm sure she didn't realize her news was old news, but then again, neither did I. I did know Roy and Dale were long passed on. Glad there are compadres around here who care.

Very interesting facts! There was a show back in the 90's where Roy and Clint Black sang together a lot. Can't remember what it was called. Wish I could find it on Youtube.
