Thinking about leasing/selling her..

Ok, despite her terrible manners, and her pissy attitude, I feel like I have a bond with Savannah. But I'm thinking its best for both of us if I get someone to lease or buy her. I would much rather lease her out so she can still be mine, but someone else would be payingfor/riding her.. lol.

Im thinking along the lines of free lease. Just I would put her at my lesson barn (board is $200 a month, regular farrier/vet, riding ring, roundpen acess + $40 hunter lessons).

But my problem is, my mother. She does not understand that Savannah needs attention and would be much happier somewhere where she could actually be worked.

So I have a question, how do I get my mom to warm up to the idea of letting Savannah go for her sake and ours (we don't have very much money right now due to horsey-related stuff).

Does your mom work with Savannah at all? Not even legit, formal training, just interaction? Has she experienced the mare's attitude firsthand? If not, maybe show her one-on-one what Savannah's issues are and explain how she may do better with someone who has the time to deal with them. I think it's just going to take some calm discussion.

Best of luck!

She feeds her (to get supplements and theres not pasture for her to graze), pets her, walkls her, but I'm the only one that RIDES her. I also work with her on the ground butttt.... she's still bad for each of us.
