    I know its not a classic "trick" but I enjoy teaching a "come" and a back up. A follow me might be fun too. You can teach a whole whack of stuff. If you are doing trick training I am going to shamelessly promote clicker training. If done correctly ie no treat mugging allowed it can be great. It also might help a horse who may have a lack of lets call it trust after a "less then ideal" history.

    I was hoping to buy a clicker at our store soon, but today I'd just cluck and give her a treat. I'm excited to get a clicker!

    A word of caution, depending on what you define as "up there", I might not teach her to bow etc. just because it can be hard on older horses joints (heck, it can be hard on young horses joints too), but especially if she is older.
