Question Thinking of going to a Horse Auction

So this Saturday I am thinking of going to the Pacific Livestock Auction I have never been to a auction before, but I heard you can get some decent horses there for a low price....Has anyone in Arizona ever been there or at least if someones been to one what should I look out for and any pointers would be great.

I haven't been in a long time. Bring someone with you who really knows a lot about horses. Go early so you can walk up and down the pens and look at everything before the auction.

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.

I've never bought from there. Last time I went a ranch was going out of business & there were a lot of good horses, but other times there was nothing. You have to be a little hard hearted when you are looking, because there are a lot of horses that are sick or underfed. Its really sad.
If you look at Havok's album in my profile, his mom in the pictures are from PLA. We were given her by someone who bought her there not realizing she was pregnant. The seller didn't disclose to the buyer that she was in foal, which is an example of the kind of stuff you have to watch out for there. She is a nice little horse, but is a really hard keeper.

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.

Very pretty horse. Seems like a darling.

To add a horse there's a "HORSES" tab in the upper left corner then go to "Your barn" and click "Add a horse" I think xD
