Some criminals are genuinely sick, they have to be to commit the crimes they do. Any person who can commit a sexual or violent crime against a baby or small child has to be fundamentally flawed as a human being and therefore needs to be put down. Not out of revenge or hatred but just because there is no place in the world for someone who is so dangerously ill. I do not believe there is quite enough capitol punishment in this regard, if someone is proven and convicted of rape or brutally beating an infant or child they need to be taken out to a back lot and disposed of with a bullet to the head - point blank range - just as you would an animal. And yes, I could and would pull the trigger.

Sorry, talking about capitol punishment sent me off on a tangent. I believe the death sentence has a place in the world.

It is not the actual sentence I dislike about the death penalty. It is the possibility of putting a wrongfully charged individual to death. This is the reason why I don't really swing one way or the other. I would have no problem with the death penalty towards a guilty criminal. It is the chance of the wrong person getting the penalty that concerns me no matter how small it is.

Yeah I was watching a show on National Geographic channel. Talking about how they tested sarin on soldiers to see what a lethal dose would be. They told the soldiers they were working to cure the common cold.
