For those of you who know Squiggy.....

I must request your opinions.

I found a local show in November that I think I'd like to go to if all is well with my knee.

Now, the big question is... what would I enter? And what could/would Squiggy be able to do and do well.

I have no experience with showing, so I have no idea what anything is like.

So, the classes are:

Western Performance Horse:
Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Reining, Trail
English Performance Horse:
English Pleasure, Road Hack, Show Hack, Hunter, Jumper
Speed Performance Horse:
Barrel racing, Pole bending, Stake race, Key hole race
Junior Horse and Rider Combination:
Junior Horse Western Pleasure, Junior Horse English Pleasure, and any Junior Horse Performance classes offered by the show
Halter Horse:
All Halter classes count. The Handler and Horse combination
Collects the points. The horse and handler may only enter one halter class such as: Breed class or Open class

I'm not sure right now if we'd be in the "Junior Horse" category or not.

Any English is just not going to happen, no saddle.

I'm just wondering if you think Squiggy wouldn't be an embarrassment in Western Pleasure, Reining, or Trail.... Cause I have a feeling she just might be, because she totally isn't the type for any of that.

Or should I just wait and enter next year in the Speed Performance Horse class? Because, by then, she'll hopefully be ready for some speed.

Or, should I just ditch the thought of showing Squiggy and maybe see if another horse of ours might show more promise to show, like the mare in my avatar.
