Hmmm... Northern dancer won the Kentucky derby and the Preakness stakes.
Sham's cousin was Secretariat. Sham was a very fast horse, but secretariat was faster, though Sham did beat him to third once in the Wood memorial stakes.
Dixie Brass won the Wither Stakes. He had 15 starts.
I think that horse has very good breeding over all, with a nice couple of winners in there!

I had a mare by Overskate( the maternal grandfather). She was a great mare, won good money, produced a couple of winners. She was a TALL, elegant mare, not beautiful, but decent conformation.

Very nice. Wow were to start. Northern Dancer is in the US and Canadian Hall Of fame. Dixieland Band is the sire of Dixe Union, influential sire in racehorse colts and mares. And you have Sham, who in another year would have won the Triple Crown. You should be proud.

I see Bold Ruler in there. That was a very successful racehorse who won the Preakness Stakes. He is also the sire of Secretariat.

Eta; oh and Sham, who almost one the triple crown along with Secretariat.

Another Hall of Fame horse. Leading sire for 7 consecutive years, and then again then again in 1973 (he had passed at that point)
