A thread for the window shoppers.

Yes, every single one of us has done it...Looking through the ads when you know you can't have the horse or the tack or whatever.

I'm on barrelhorseworld right now...What I wouldn't do for some of these prospects and finished horses.

Barrel Horse World

Barrel Horse World

I really would love the first colt. O.o Love it.

I'm a Stubben 'ho. I'll look at Stubben saddles on ebay and every other tack for sale site. I don't need another saddle but there's no harm in looking, right?

LEAVE ME ALONE! I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM!!!!

Boy, do I know how you feel! Those horses are lovely.

I pretend to go 'shopping' for horses and horse stuff on the internet ALL the time. I already know which farm I want to get my Bashkir Curly colt from (Hahaha, maybe in fifteen years!) and I've picked out several large spotted sport mules in the past. I regularly stalk places that sell sidesaddles and choose the best ones that I absolutely must buy... even though I have never even ridden in a side saddle before. Strangely I don't know from which breeding program I will get my Lipizzaner stallion yet but I'm sure that will come with time!

My big problem lately has been lusting after people's barns, fences, and property in general. I see a beautiful barn with a funny, round copper roof and it's all I can do to keep driving and 'leave it behind'. It's the same for pretty five board cross rail fencing and property will rolling hills and long driveways. The more I work on fixing the fences at home the more I wish that I could call the fencing guys and tell them to spare no expense in building me acres of five board extravagance. Painted in white, I think. I wish life had a copy and paste setting!

My addiction (like Pixie) is horse barns. I am always looking at horse stables for sale online or horse boarding stable's websites.

I love this place.. some of the stalls could use some work though.

Amazing horse facility..

This one ties with the second one.

I am in love with the inside of this barn.. (ok I'm done)

^^ Whoa! I wish I had five million dollars to buy one of those places. Then I wouldn't have any money left to furnish the property with fancy horses and equipment, not to mention pay the taxes, so I guess we'd better make that twenty million.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only who does stuff like this.

Oh if only...I would LOVE to have a nice barn, nice arena, nice fences....*swoon* I would do a purple and gold color scheme. Royal colors. I would love to get a big ol' fancy Semi truck and trailer one day with my colors and name emblazened on the side, hauling my multi figure horses with my several thousand dollar saddles and tack sets...From rodeo to rodeo!

I was actually going to start a thread like this, where we could share the ads that make us all drool... But you beat me to it! I'm a bad window shopper, though I am kinda in the market. Well, in the market with no money.

Property wise, this is what I want. I actually looked into it for agistment once, only to find that the owner had just passed away. The stables were built a few years ago and never used.

As for horses... here are just a few I've got my eye on xD

Blue Roan Brumby Gelding I want this little fellow so very badly.
Stunning 2yo Filly This one is a dream. I'd never be able to afford her!
Grey Pinto Standardbred Gelding - I know the people who broke this fellow in, and he sounds like a darling. Not to mention his looks!
Big Sturdy Station Gelding - Not a bad looker, and would undoubtedly be a good worker.
Destined For The Hunter Ring - I've watched this girls progress and gosh she's a beauty.
Clydie Gelding - Another dream. Handsome or what?
Fjord Gelding - oooh yes please!

And I'd better leave it at that... for now.

Oh gosh yes...horse properties are my weakness, not just the barn. There is a place about an hour from me that came up for sale some years ago, it was only $1,000,000. Only. The barn...omg...forget the house, I wanted to live in the barn. Not to mention the perfectly landscaped paddocks that are all fenced and cross fenced, just beautiful. It's on a main highway and I pass it fairly often and I just sigh each time, it's so beautiful. It makes my husband nuts, but when we visit his sister in Florida I always take a day to drive around the Ocala area and I just swoon over the properties. I can only dream of owning such a place.

Still wanting this bit...Too bad I can barely afford lunch these days. D:

I also want to get a classy bronc like this.

Bronc Halter, Gorgeous Hair On Cross + Bling, Nice!! G&E | eBay

It's not over the top but it's pressing its nose to the glass...My type of hide too.

I think my next bronc halter will have stingray inlay though. I've been drooling over the new stuff my friend has gotten in for her business.
