Prepare immediately before by doing some deep breathing (prior to that, go in the restroom and shake yourself around a bit
) and visualize it all going perfectly and smoothly.
Remember to pause, vary your voice from loud to quiet, make your gestures count - some big calculated ones versus constant annoying ones , look everyone in the eye (or as many as you can) and don't pace back and forth.
Pretend you're a horse, and that you're talking to to horses - it will make it so MUCH easier.
PS remember sound bites - at least the beginning and end and a couple of important points.
