Exclamation Tips for buying my first horse

I'm currently on the search for my first horse. There is a place that I've been looking at that has a lot of horses for sale that they say are well broke and trail ridden. I'm looking for a horse to do competitive trails and/or endurance riding with.

Horseville Horse Classifieds

Should I be worried about the number of horses they get and sell? I don't know a whole lot about horse trading, so if someone could enlighten me, I would appreciate it. This place is about an hour and a half from where I live, and I have an appointment with them to look at some horses. Is it bad to buy from a place like this?

Thanks for the input

It's not bad to buy from a place like this but I would take someone who knows alot about horses to come with you to look. Not everyone is going to lie or not tell you if there is a problem with a horse but there are alot out there that will. Do you have experience with horses and know what to look for?

My horses are the joy in my life.....
