    "Today, I fell off."

I think it'd be fun if every time we fell off we posted a little story about it here and put up the counter. So we can see how much we fall off as a forum in general haha. So please don't post unless you are recounting a fall that happened to you either today or in the past few days. We are trying to keep this a running tally starting now haha.

    Haha I'll start.

Today at my horse show, my horse stopped mid canter for no reason, and I took flight.

    :)

Fell off twice this week. My friend said one more time and i'm an official cowgirl. First time, kicked both feet out of the stirrups to dismount and leaned too far over the side and fell off the opposite side of paul. Landed on my feet though. Second time, 2 days later. Went to mount, put too much weight going over and launched myself onto the other side. This time, I fell on my hip infront of a few horse girls and some guy. Was so embarrassed. When I get my third fall, i'm going out to buy myself a cowgirl hat as a reward.

Fell off once on a trail ride, (he bolted and I just hung in the air where he was like the Wiley Coyote) and once riding bareback, but he was standing still at the time LOL.

I fell off yesterday riding Five bareback. He is a cutting horse, so his turns are very sharp, and we he decided to do a sudden turn to the left, he left me hanging. It was HILARIOUS.

I fell off Zane Yesterday. We were riding back to the hitching post--a.k.a tree-- and I decide to ride him around the trampoline and apple tree in sort of a figure 8. The second time round he spooked at a bird or something by the apple tree. He went one way and I went the other. My entire right side is sore and I can't sit down to save the life of me :P. This was my quickest recovery time though. I got up in like thirty seconds and walked up to the front porch where he was munching on rose leaves. I also got back on and rode him back by the apple tree so he could see the indent in the earth where he threw me :P
