    Too good of a baby sitter?

    So I was waiting for Henny's feed to soak(after having two choking episodes in one week, we're soaking his feed) and we saw a new habit of Henny's. Just a background, Henny was weaned at 4 months and he'll be 7 months on the 23rd. So for almost 3 months, Gully my grade gelding and Bubba have been his friends. Then a mare and her 16 month old filly moved in about a month ago. Gully is the lead horse and is a very good baby sitter for Henny.

    Sara, the filly, is still nursing on mama. She doesn't do it frequently enough for Dale to be producing milk so at this point it's a comfort thing. Problem is, Henny is now mimicking her! We sat there and watched as Henny "nursed" on my gelding Gully. Gully just stood there for about a minute before getting annoyed, stamping his feet, and moving away. Has anyone else dealt with this before? I can't really see a negative about this habit, besides the fact that as people we just find it nasty. Is there any health affects about this habit?
