When I think about it...every animal in my care gets fed and cared for before I do! I don't have kids, but hope to some day, and figure it'll be the same for them....is there a time in a woman's life when the need for them gets too much, and some women go crazy because of it??? I know this is kindof off topic, but my friend being a mother of two, and three horses, I wonder if she just became too saturated? Any experienced mother - please reply!

I have certainly had my days or maybe week I have 4 kids and 2 horses. There are days when I just want to say "can't you people handle anything with out me" Then I take a deep breath and go on. I still smoke though, it my one vice that I havent' been able to give up despite numerous tries. Sometimes I just disappear for 5 min and go have a cigarette and come back better adjusted. I also have a mother in law that is terminally ill and an alcoholic father that moved closer to me about a year ago and the outside pressures can get pretty frustrating. I just try to take it one day at a time. That's all I can do. Oh..well that and rant to all of you guys here! Thanks for all of your support btw! I think ya'all are great!

Dumas- I know it's got to be hard with so many depending on you. I applaud your love for your family...I too come from a loving family; one that was trying, and that involved it's own breakdowns. However, in the end my mother was always there for us kids, and my dad. It is devastating what my friend is doing to her family...

LC- You are a sanctuary for the horse you rescued! I hope you guys continue to grow together, and that your "friend" comes around...I sure hope mine does...although I don't think I can be there for her when she does.

Thankfully Willy will move this Saturday to his new home! It is full of positive energy... I plan to help my friend's husband find loving homes for the others - they are sooooooooooo worth it! :P
