So my horse has to be inside for the next two days at the minimum and could be longer. hes in his teens and doesn't show interest in jolly balls or the big exercise balls. i have put a lot of hay with him and put it in different spots in the small arena. but i cant put my other horses with his as one will try to break out and they are better left outside..

so im looking for something for him to do. the vet my have him in longer but wont know till Thursday.

It doesn't always last long, but a simple toy I use is a milk jug, gallon vinegar container, etc. and punch a few holds in it or just one to last longer and put some grain in it. Teach them to roll or toss it around by pushing it with your foot or shaking some out and then let them eat the grain and do a few times. Then they usually get the hang of pushing it around and food comes out! There are versions of this already made up, but they are pretty expensive at least for me.
