Trading horse trailer for trailer

I'm not really sure where to post this.....move it if you need too! Sorry mods!

I have a friend that has a 2006 three horse slant load bumper pull that she is interested in trading for my 2010 2 horse slant load bumper pull. The trailers are worth about the same amount of money. I have been looking for what she has and she's been looking for what I have! lol BUT, we both still owe payments....so my question is, would we just switch tites with our bank/lienholder's and keep our current payments? AND has anyone here done anything like this?

Also, my trailer's tack room door got hung up on my Dad's truck bumper and knocked it off the hinges...it will close but you have to slam it and then it sticks real bad so we just bungy chord it shut. We haven't taken the time to get it fixed. Yes I know Does anyone know what that would roughly cost to get fixed? It would basically need to be welded back together and *might*.....*might* need a whole new door but I'm not thinking that would be the case. Next question...should I pay for that or should she? I'm thinking I would but I've never done this so not sure!

I guess I'm just looking for experiences, opinions, answers whatever you can give me! lol
