Transfer

I wasnt for sure where to put this but I sent in my horses transfor papers to AQHA about a week ago. And I havent got anything back from them. How long does it usally take to get them transfered?

Expect to wait at least 6 to 8 weeks before you hear anything.

Like SP said...they seem to take their time doing things so don't expect to get them back too soon. You could also call them and see roughly when you might be getting them back but I doubt it will do you any good.

That is the only downfall for the AQHA....they take FOREVER to get you back papers, transfers, DNA kits, ect.

If there's one thing that's been a constant in all of my years with QHs, it's the lack of speed with the AQHA. Don't hold your breath.

Thanks everyone. I have never delt with AQHA before till now. I am just joining and transfering him under my name and didnt know how long to except. Thanks alot for letting me know on what to exspect.!

A week? LMAO, I waited for 8 weeks for my mare's paperwork. And almost 3 months before my check was cashed!

Wow I have never had a problem with it taking that long. It took me 5 days to get my DNA kit. It took 3 weeks to get my new membership for showing,(and that is 11 days for them to get it from the show staff) and 3 weeks for transfers of 3 horses.

We've also never had issues with quick responses from AQHA.
