Transporting miniatures...?

I'm totally clueless to how to do this, but one day I hope to own a few of my own, so I'd like to get some more information about the subject. A friend of mine has goats, and she pulls the back seats out of her minivan and sprinkles some hay down. She puts in some water buckets and in they go. Is this how most miniatures are transported, or do you use a regular trailer?

Most people use a trailer.

Several have trailers made specifically for minis, or they have dividers built for minis to be used in large horse trailers.

Me? I just use my regular two horse slant load :)
