Tuesday coffee and bagels

Good morning all! I hope this is where this post belongs, since most folks will have horsie plans daily.

Do y'all do a morning thread? Sip a cuppa and blow the cobwebs outta your noggin? Find out what your pals are up to today? It's all the over-the-fence-gossip without the dirty dishes to wash later! ( Bet you wish your in-laws could figure that out....)

Ok then, the coffee is perked. Breakfast is toasted bagels with cream cheese, strawberries on the side.

It's chilly and unsettled weather here in the NE.... but a nice change from the heat and humidity. Gotta pull myself together and get rolling. It's vet check day here at the dairy, and I need to be prepared.

Rinse out your cup and leave it in the sink when you're done. Last one out - please turn out the lights. And, please don't go into the basement. No matter what you hear, it's not MsEddi down there. I swear. Honest.

I'll take the bagel, but no coffee please hehe

My plans? Well going out shopping for a new Parelli halter...and hopefully a bareback pad if they aren't too expensive. Then going to try to talk my mom into taking me out to lunch hehe...but I doubt she will. Then going home and changing into my riding gear (if I don't have it on already).....then going to ride. Going to work more on neckreining and maybe some bareback stuff hehe

It's fairly chilly in NY, but we have just finished like 3 days of thunder storms so it's expected. Nice blue sky, so hopefully it won't rain.

It's half one and I'm sitting on my sun lounger in my back garden, here in sunny (!) south Wales. We've had three or four days of GLORIOUS weather, which is pretty much unheard of! Yesterday I was in shorts; today I've donned a skirt and a halterneck and dragged extension leads across the gravel so I can bring my laptop outside. I can't see the screen very well - pictures are big black rectangles - but it's too lovely not to be outside.

I had some mishaps yesterday when it came to catching the sun (thighs to knees are pink, everywhere else is still Gollum-like), but I'm not letting that put me off :) No horsey plans until tomorrow; a lesson at 7pm and my mum is coming to watch for the first time.

If you believe everything you read, better not read.

Well, just rolled out of bed... its finally a nice day, the last 2 days have been nothing but rain! Well.. it stopped raining for about 4 hours yesterday, but still driving me nuts! No horsey plans for me until Saturday. Until then I'm working this week. I can sense it will be a looooong 5 days! 8)

Do you have any of those big blueberry muffins, Dash?

Well, oldest daughter is staying at Grandpa's cottage on the lake this week. So it's just me and the two younger girls all day while daddy's at work.I have lots of horsie stuff to do this week. Horses need to be dewormed and get their hooves done, pastures need to be mowed, hay needs to be stacked, and I'm going to the farm store to get my supplies for what I call my "poor man's round pen".

Morning everyone! M'mmmm, a bagel with cream cheese please!

I am taking it easy today, I'm pretty stiff and sore from canoeing yesterday, but I had such a great time it really was worth it.

Looks like a nice sunny day here...altho storms may be popping up later on this afternoon.
