Tugging on the bit

Hey, everybody! I'm new to Horse Forum.

I wanted to come and ask everybody a question. I have a 6 yr old off the track thoroughbred that tugs on the bit. I ride her in a d ring snaffle. She tugs on the bit a lot. I've read that off the track horses tend to be a bit pushy with it. She's very good with everything, she's just pushy. I'd like to fix this so I can put her up for sale this spring. Anybody have any tips or tricks to keep her from being so pushy? Thanks so much for any replies!
