Two accidents in one day

Yesterday was PC, one of the best times of the month. Not yesterday.

It started out to be a great day, Buzz walked straight onto the float (few months ago it took as around half hour to get him on), was great in flatwork.
Then we had jumping were our first accident occured.
Buzz was being really hypo for some reason and was rushing everything, I was trying to get him to slow down but then all the people in front of me were setting a fast pase as well so I just kept Buzz going.
That was my first bad move.
Buzz was trying to canter over the trot poles, would canter after jumps, he nearly had a good old pigroot but I stopped him there.

Anyway we had just gone over the first jump and Buzz was rushing towards the next one, I think I could of possible tried to make him go slower then next thing I know were heading face first for the ground, Buzz had tripped, all I could think of was to pull his head up so he doesn't flip over. Pretty sure I yanked on his head hard to keep it up.
He must of done some stides on his knee because he got up and was ready to trot after it and I am pretty sure he would of jumped the next jump also but I pulled him up got off and assesed him.
He was fine thankfully, nearly gave me a heart attack.

After that got back on and jumped him twice my at my pace.
Finished PC on a good note.

The next accident occured when we were at home and taking him off the float.
He was being very impatient and wanted to run off the back so I was like no stand here for a bit, he of course was like no I am going to run back and fling my head up so I hit the roof.
That is excatly what he did, he literally ran off the back of the float and cantered away.
He went straight to the paddock, to see his gf.
I went after him to inspect what he had done. He now has a nice lighting shapped srape on his face.
Nothing major just took the hair off and a little knick at the top, but his head was sore.
Would not let me touch it, we did get some spray on it and fed him, then left him for the night.

I checked it this morning and his head isn't as sore he will actually let me touch it, I cleaned and sprayed it again.

That was my exciting weekend
Thanks to anyone that read all the way through lol had to get it off my chest

I know, it was the scariest moment, I keep playing it in slow motion in my head and it's horrible.

I just relised I'm going to have to go back to square one on floating Buzz :(
