Two and a half horses in a two horse trailer?

I need to move Gelding, Mare and new foal 15 hours due to compromised safety situation, I can get a Two horse trailer and modify it to carry the three horses, is this NEVER done?

Ummm it probably can be done if it really needs to be..... Do all the horses get along great? How far do you have to trailer them?
I'm just nervous the foal would get trampled

What kind of a two horse trailer?

And why 15 hours? That is very stressful for a new foal.

Oh sorry! I completly missed the 15 hours part! Ummm I don't think 15 hours is very good for any of the horses in. A crowded trailer....

From Arkansas to Wyoming, yes they get along great, it is mother, father (since been gelded) and baby. And I would prefer not to move them if I didn't have to so it is pretty necessary

A foal cannot stand for 15 hours.

The foal will need to nurse to stay hydrated.

It would probably be okay for a shorter ride, however that it a long stressful ride. Something could easily go wrong. Do you know of a friend who has a trailer you can borrow? If not, I know that there are places around here that let you rent trailers. Maybe something to look into?

She will probably make quite a few stops along the way.
Oh ok, well, I think it would be ok.... Is it a stock trailer?

I thought about that and I think that I can modify in such a way that I can keep the foal able to nurse during trip. I figured to stop frequently as well

It is a bumper pull two horse with a manger and small tack area in front but I could place the foal toward the back and create a low wall to allow nursing. It is a great mother and the father thinks he's a puppy dog, the baby is a chip off of the old block.
