    Angry UGHH! Please read. *rant*

OK so appairently I am now known as the barn thief!

I usually keep to myself at the barn I don't really ask people for anything except my bestfriend Shelbi(crokettsstorm). Anyways my "friend" whitney's dad said I could have his saddle for free he said he had no use for it anyways. Well I completly forgot the saddle in his truck after I picked up my horse. One day whitney wanted to use MY saddle since it was heavier and it would give her horse a better workout or whatever, I told her I forgot it in her dad's truck a few months ago and haven't seen it since. So yesterday I found out that she has been telling people that I stole HER saddle (don't forget that it is MY saddle). Why would I steal MY OWN SADDLE!!! UGHH It's basically known she is a compulsive LIAR so I don't understand why everyone believes her.

Im not a confrontational person so i've tried to just brush it off but whatever. Thanks for reading my rant if you have any advice I will gladly take it.

Is she just looking for attention? Or is she jealous because that man gave the saddle to you and not her?

But I agree with Spastic Dove. Go talk to her.

Why didn't you call or ask Whitney's Dad for the saddle after you left it in his truck before months went by? And since he gave it to you and he is Whitney's father, why doesn't he tell everyone that he in fact gave it to you and so nobody stole anything??

Her dad works in Africa and whitney doesn't live with them since her mom and dad are divorced and he lives in a different county. So sometime during that time period the saddle disappeared from his truck or trailer.

And I also just went to the barn to feed and she's moving her tack and hooks and grooming supplies to the other tack room. And she and her mom are demanding the can and buckets I use to feed in back when they orginally told me I could use them since they have no use for them.

Try talking to her. Be the bigger person. Don't start rumors and gossip about her, just talk to her, and if someone asks you your side of the story, tell the truth. If someone accuses you of stealing it, laugh it off and tell them that you honestly didn't do anything

Honestly, I'd just let it go as far as confronting her. If/when you are directly involved in a conversation where it comes up, simply state that it was given to you by her father.
Really, with she said/she said situations, the more you protest and the louder you are about it the more people start to think the opposite of what you are saying. As hard as it is to believe right now, in the grand scheme of things this isn't really an issue worth getting spun up over.
