Um. Problem.

So I've noticed my new mare doesn't like her rump being
touched the slightest. While brushing her and touching it
gently, she kicked her back leg accidently kicking her poor filly! :(

Also, she needs to have her feet trimmed, I am scared she
will kick the person who is trimming her feet, because she is also
frightened when it comes to her back legs.

Any tips or suggestions?

It's been awhile, but I'm back & back in the saddle!

slowly work with her on touching her back. Start petting her from her withers, and run your hand down...when you get to a part that you can tell is bothering her...stop. Then repeat and just go over tha one stop.

As for her feet, just work with her on it slowly.

Has she always been sore in these spots?
