Update on mustangs!

A few months ago, a "friend" of mine abandoned her two mustangs, dam and colt, on an acre pasture with a scummy pond for drinking and dying grass for feed. She had to move back to maine, from south FLorida. She had told the barn owner she'd be paying monthly (never happened) asked me if i'd help sell the mare, (whom was terribly started*read-ruined*, unfit and unruly.) and if i'd help keep up with the colt. Now, not only could I not afford another two horses, but they were not my responsibility. When the barn owner called me trying to figure out where his money was and why these horses were still there, I decided to call in some help in the form of a woman with a rescue in Wisconsin. She's a little loony tunes, but she's got an enormous heart, and she's super dedicated. So, the horses were abandoned in may, picked up in june, and in september, were shipped up to Wisconsin on FIFTEEN ACRES with six other rescues. They get free grazing, have a huge shelter (like a covered arena closed in on three sides) a round bale as needed, and one of the most balanced holistic diets i've ever heard of. The woman is going to send me pictures which i'll be sure to post for you guys. Just wanted to update everybody who followed along. Both horses are now fat, happy, healthy and to their excitement, free again(sorta )
