Username : Sad News

Hopefully, most of you have read my "Bad News" thread. Well, within time I would like to change my username. It hurts to much to have it. I am praying this won't be a big issue and that its okay with the Mods and, most important, our great admin Mike.

I'm really sorry things aren't working out with Blu. Your safety comes first. Be very careful when looking for another horse. Don't let your emotions play a part in your choice. We had a OTTB when we first started out. It took a few years a few falls and many friend telling us that this horse was going to kill one of us before we finally sold her. I cried when she left but I know she went to a nice place. She taught me a lot and I thank her for that but I'm so much happier with the horse I have now. Sometimes it takes a few hits and misses before you find a good match in a horse. When you have a match theres nothing better :)

Where did you post it? You don't have to give details, but I can definetly feel for you. Buck (the horse who inspired the username) seemed like a really nice boy -- until we tried to go for a trail ride with him. He reared, and my right foot slipped out of the stirrup. It kinda scared me, and I havn't ridden him since. Plus, he is about 16h.



Isn't he pretty though? We got along fine in the arena, but he just has nothing upstairs!

I completely understand how you feel. I have had it to the end of my rope with my horse Solomon. When I bought him I knew he had problems and I worked through them the best I could but after 5 months he hasn't changed. He still spooks, takes off on me, plows through the bit, bucks me off, rears up and strikes at me when on the ground and such. I love him though, I really do. Every time I see him my heart breaks because I feel so guilty for wanting to sell him.
