using back on track in the summer

I got gypsy some back on track hock boots, which I really like, but now that it's getting warmer, I'm not sure if /when I should use them.

I've been putting them on her almost every day, so she gets used to them. I sometimes put them on before we ride, but usually after. I cool her out/hose her off first, then I have her wear them for an hour or so. Just depends on how long i can stay to wait to take them off.

Do you think they are okay to use in 80+ degree weather? The instructions don't say anything about hot weather.

When I use them after xc jumping. I cool her out and wait a few hours before I put them on.

Any opinions welcome :)

You are not supposed to use them every day for months on end... I believe you are supposed to give a week or so off in between uses. Other than that Summer use is fine.

Thanks for the info :)

From my understanding of the instructions that they came with you can use them daily or monthly. But it does say it's a good idea to give them a few days off every once in awhile so they don't "get used" to them so to say.

So I've been using them in the heat. Sometimes shes a little sweaty under them, but just damp and she doesn't feel overly hot
