which vet book is a better buy?

I really want to get an informative veterinary book that will allow me to flip quickly in the case of an emergency, but also gives me helpful info. I'm debating between these two books. It's not a matter of price, but of quality. What do you guys think?

"Horse Owner's Veterinary Handbook":
"How to Be Your Own Vet":
Thanks in advance!

That's okay, Tiffanny. I'm just trying to decide which one is better.
