Hey, I'm just looking to see if anyone out there has any information on the current whereabouts on a Percheron gelding I sold last February.
He was between the ages of 8-10, stood around 17hh and was dapple grey in colour. He was a little on the skittish side and had a nasty habit of kicking that I thought had been cured but apparently came back when he changed homes. He also has one hip that sits slightly higher than the other from an old accident.
I'm looking to see if anyone knows anything about this horse, as I knew him for 3 years before I bought him. I sold him to a woman who brought him to Southern Ontario, where he changed homes at least twice this year... The last I know of, a girl in her late teens, early-twenties was riding him in the sale-pictures. He was being offered at $1000..
He's got lovely knee action, although his conformation leaves something to be desired, as when he rests one hind foot it crosses over the other in the back.
I would really like to know if anyone knows anything on this horse and to know if he is happy wherever he is. I really just want to know that he is happy and whoever has him is happy to have him, as he was a do anything, go anywhere horse in harness... but if whoever has him is having troubles with him... well I'd be happy to make arrangements to bring him home..
Here are some pictures of him:
