Washington Horse People?

So just as the title of the thread says, this is for the Washington state horse people.

I know there are at least some people that live in "beautiful" northwest. With all of the rain and rain and then some more rain.

How do you guys like it here? I feel like mud is the biggest issue other than the pouring rain.

Are you guys used to it? I have lived here my whole life and still hate it.

I just wanna hear from some people that live in the same state as me and see what you guys think of it and where you guys are.

I am not afraid of being hunted down and killed so I will tell you all. I am in the Puyallup area of Washington

Lol we are the northern part of the state in the middle between the east and west sides lol. And about 40min from the CAN border :)

We are high desert for our area....and OMG it has RAINED and RAINED since the middle of October with a few days of no rain and a few days of sunshine. The pens are mud and nasty...everything is muddy lol.

We get a few showers in the fall months....but not almost 1 1/2 months of wet weather.

As for liking the rain? Ya...I like it every now and again as I can ride between the times lol. But every day rain....not so much. I wouldn't be able to live on the west side of the state. To much rain for my liking.

I think you all know I live in Washington state. I live in Bellevue. Suburbs. Twelve minutes by freeway to Downtown Seattel.

Yes, it's been wet the last month, but don't forget the 86 days without rain we had this summer! That was awesome. Toward the end , I was really begging for it to rain becuase the trails were rock hard. Now they are a bit muddy, but so soft. We went out yesterdya and trotted and cantered all over Bridle Trails State Park on the soft trails. Whee!
