Watch us on TV!

We (the mini horse drill team hubby and I are on, www.minimystique.org) are in the Rose Bowl Parade for the third time this year :) (weren't last year, but were the previous two years).

Along with that there is a performance Tuesday at the LA Equestrian Center, where all the horse groups in the parade do a performance.
RFD TV will be showing the Equestfest performance, so you're able to watch us and the other groups! :) Our team SHOULD be first, as we need the ground hard packed. It will be on RFD from 3-6 Eastern on Tuesday. (12-3 Pacific).

RFD will also be airing the parade itself on Friday, 11am Eastern (8am Pacific). After that's over there is a thing on building the floats in the parade, then after that a "special encore presentation" and I have no idea what that is ;)

If you don't have RFD you can still watch the parade on several channels. I know our local channels show it, although they have been known to cut to commercials when the horse groups are on :'(

The parade will be on the Travel Channel and the Home and Garden channel at 11am Eastern. These two, at least in prior years, show the parade uninterupted by commercials :)

Hope you get to watch us!! :)

I love watching the Rose Bowl parade! I'll be sure to keep a look our for you. That's sooo cool! I have a great aunt who used to ride in a group from Scottsdale AZ in the parade but that's been many years ago.

I saw you on tv driving those cute minis. Which horse were you driving? The brown mini or the red mini with the star?

I noticed that you were after the intermission.

Have fun again in the parade.

I was driving my blue roan, Midnight. Hubby drove his chestnut, Concho (he has lots of face white, mostly due to age (he's 26 this year).

Triple Crown Girl, yes, but all the equestrian groups in the parade do a performance during the week for the public called Equestfest. Both were televised on RFD. Speaking of, they did a HORRIBLE job coverage-wise of us there :( They did make up for it during the parade though.

Here is a link to see us in the Rose Parade. After you click on this link 2010 Rose Parade - The 121st Tournament of Roses Parade - KTLA then click on part 6 which is the part we were in. Then watch through til about 12 minutes in and there we are.

Also discovered we're on the Frontier Easy Entry carts webpage :)

In the first photo, I'm in the cart, closest to the cam. Craig is in the back on the right (but not the one with the beard haha). Harder to explain where we are in the lower photo.
