Yeah they do, never noticed before.

In my opinion, a horse is the animal to have. Eleven-hundred pounds of raw muscle, power, grace, and sweat between your legs - it's something you just can't get from a pet hamster.

NO way did the opposum leave--he's just hiding out. You don't need expensive wet cat food--possums go after the cheap dry cat food I feed my cats. My cats supplement it with mice. We've shot quite a few over the years. The WORST was the trio of raccoons in my grain room last Fall. STUPIDLY, I cut a cat door in my grain room, for mousing, but now possums and raccoons have discovered it. I really need to cut some wood and nail it closed again.
My dogs will sniff 'em out, DH will shoot them, but I have to clean up the blood and guts!! It takes like a whole bottle of bleach until I can't smell them anymore.
The best thing is to keep the grain room closed in the Fall, and same for your case, if possible.

The $0.30 a can wet cat food might work better - possums can't see very well, so the stinkier the bait the more likely they will be attracted to it. Sardines in oil work well too!
