Talking Well that was fun.. NOT!

So I finally moved my mini mare today! The original plan was for me and my wife both to be off work and move her together.. nope! Our trailer had to come early and my wife was and is still at work so it was just me..
The mare loaded up beautifully. She has only trailered once before so that was a surprise. She was great the whole way to the new pasture..
When we pulled up we saw her new companion gelding had been moved to a small paddock. I bring my mare to the fence, they sniff, no drama. No strikes, no squeals, nothing! Great, right?? So after a few mins of over the fence chat I put her in and...

She goes right through the fence.
Right through the 2 strand (these are minis remember, the fence isnt very high) electric wire fence. And then she goes back in the paddock and breaks another section of fence out of boredom I guess. She was just trotting! Not even scared or running!

The gelding took off up the road to another barn. My mare came right to me. We put her in their back yard (chainlink) and went to find the gelding. We catch him, bring him back, and the old man who owns the place goes 'You gotta let em meet over the fence like this' (even though I told him I had already done that, whateve)

Nothing. No fireworks. No squeal. No strike. Put them back together and they are bffs. They were grooming each other like long lost friends when I pulled out. Ugh, horses
