I have had one horse she was a beautiful American paint filly but she was to young for me. I'm looking for a new horse to barrel race with I need suggestions on a appropriate age for one I'm a beginner. Check out all other threads by me I need some help thanks!
It depends on the horse really but if your a beginner you should look for a been there done that gaming horse. They can teach you alot that A green horse couldn't. (as I don't suggest gettin a greenie)
My guy is 6 and super quiet, but that is just luck of the draw. A good age is around 10-20 but you really have to watch out when buying an older horse if they have been gaming all of there life. You don't want to purchase a horse with arthritis. Posted via Mobile Device
