I would say "Light Bay" if you look at this website and scroll down to the one that does say "Light Bay" I think they are very similar! :)

NO, it is not sunbleached. I think I would know when half of her tail is silver...

Horse Color Modifiers Bay
Wow I never would have guessed that some of those horses were considered bay, especially the bay with double creme modifier gene. They're all gorgeous though.

buckskins also have black mane and tails the buckskin body coloring is from a dilute gene however the dark points ( black mane/tail, legs) remain. As you can see from the picture I posted in my first response. Misty is Buckskin her tail, mane legs are black. although as with most horses with any black coloring it gets sun bleached and appears to be dark brown or a reddish brown

If you don't want her to be bay then what color do you want her to be? she looks bay to me.

Bays and buckskins both have black manes/tails.

Lp, the appy gene, is very well known to mess with colors. And it especially likes to put white hairs in the mane and tail. Some it turns mane/tail to completely white. The other thing it loves to do is change leg color.

Yup, your girl is bay, affected by Lp ;)
