what to do about school starting?!?!

Ugh! I can't believe school is starting Monday already!!!!! My this summer has flew by! Does anyone have any tips on how to balance horse time w/ school time? I really want to be able to go to the barn at the VERY least three times a week but I would MUCH rather more! I just switched barns and the only down fall is that there is no one to car pool w/. Im just starting high school so I can't drive, my dad works till like 5:30, my mom has a bad back, and my sister works 24/7 or is at the barn I just moved from so... I usually can get my mom to drive me but after a while her back or leg kicks up. As you can see it is hard to get to the barn. The barn is approx. 20 min away so not too bad. Its a lot closer than my last barn. Anyways now im rambling. Any advice would be great! =]

I used to study for tests while lunging Vic. You have your papers in one hand and the lunge line in the other. I used to read off all the questions and answers to him, too.

Take your school work to the barn with you if you have to. It'll be a lot easier once you get your license, so just hang in there until then.

Keep your grades up. Keep your grades up. Keep your grades up.
Do as much of your work/homework in your free time at school, on the bus on the way home.
Make sure your barn is accepting of "after school"/evening times for you to come do your horsework.
Do your homework at the barn.

    All good.
How far is it in miles? "20 minutes" by car can mean so many things depending on where one is, traffic, etc.

About 19 miles or so, there is no traffic thankfully and its all horse country so at least the ride seems fast =] and im always doing hw on bus and just whenever I can at school. Im usually quite successful w/ that strategy lol!
