I make halter and bridle hangers, either taking one shoe and bending it in half, screwing one branch to the wall and letting the other make the hook, or take two shoes, cut one in half and weld the cut end to the toe of the whole shoe.
I'd like to try making shelf brackets sometime - take two shoes and weld the branches heel to heel on a 45 degree angle.
I also have a single shoe hanging on each stall door. Open end up, to catch the luck, of course.
