My horse loves watermelon, and its so much fun watching her eat it with the juices dripping out of her mouth :P she HATES oranges though... I think it might be because when she took a bite out of a whole one, it exploded everywhere

Dressage for me please!

Does Dr. Pepper count as a fruit? My old gelding will take a bottle in his teeth and turn it up.

My horses all HATE anything that has any nutritional value. They will only eat junk food and/or steal MY food. Chips, skittles, pickles, soda, lollipops, ice cream... you name it, they eat it. (More like, you TRY to eat it, they steal it.)

Our mares rarely get treats...if it's not an apple or carrot, don't bother offering.

I've only ever given Reno apples. He had his very first apple shortly after I adopted him. Poor thing...four years old and never given a treat.

I never knew it was safe to give your horses thing like watermelon and banana...pretty sure it's not recommended for them to eat junk foods, but lol whatever right? It's not good for us either but we pack ourselves full of it.

My horses will turn up their noses at any fruit. I've tried apples, carrots, pears, etc.

No interest.
