What to get our trainer and barn friends for the holidays??

I need some ideas on what to get our trainer for Christmas.... nothing huge....

Also, I was thinking of getting a couple of carrots and wrapping them together with curling ribbon and a little bell for each of the horses at the barn.... and maybe something particular for my friend that I trail ride with often.....

Oh, and the barn owner- maybe a gift certificate to somewhere.....

I need your ideas :)

I don't really bake or sew.... but I am crafty (did I just say that??).

Ooooo.... maybe a candy cane with a carrot and a hoofprint card for each of the horses? That would be easy.... our barn is small... only about ten humans, five of which I see often...

The carrot idea is really cute... You could get a horse inspired coffee mug and fill it with candy and maybe a little starbucks or dunkin donuts gift card and just put some sarayn(spelling?) wrap around it with a bow..... or a cute horse or horseshoe ornament

Just a thought! Good Luck!

We have horseshoe shaped hard candy or sweet bread / cookies around here. Maybe you find something similar as well, I guess it would fit too

Those are good ideas.... any thoughts on the barn owner? They have two small children, so I was thinking maybe an ornament for each of the kids.....

I have actually been thinking the same thing. I was thinking about putting together a little goody bag for the boarders. Like carrot, apple, groom brush, hoofpick. Decorate the bag with stickers or something.

I made my barn owner a blanket she almost didn't take it but I told her it was for her. I make home gifts that I know they will enjoy like skarfs, dish cloths, and blankets or hats. I love to knit

Yeah, I don't sew... I was thinking that their babysitter boards a horse there, so maybe I could pre-pay her for an evening and then give them a little gift card to a restaurant.....
