What Happens in The Winter?

What are things you can do to keep a horse fit throughout the winter, if you do not have an indoor arena?

Yes, but what if the weather is too bad to ride/exercise for a while?

If you don't like riding outside in the winter you could cut back on feeding, I've noticed they don't really gain alot of weight in the winter.
Im lucky I have an indoor arena but riding outside is more fun :P

Yeah, it's not that I don't like riding outside in the winter, I'm just worried that it would be too cold to safely ride outside. Know what I mean? And thank you! :)

I'd either ride outside or put them out for a month or so if it were too bad to ride. If I didn't want to put them out I'd move them to an agistment place with an indoor arena.

You can turn them out and let them run for a little

ya wouldnt want you or your horse getting hurt, do you have a friend with an arena that lives nearby? Theres a boy that lives down the road from my barn and he just trailers his horse over for a lesson or to ride.
