    What have I done?!

Today we're taking Cherry to Chloe's so that I can stay with her and practice every day, since the fair is on Saturday, and Chloe has someone coming out who can probably help us a bit... I haven't even gotten her to lope yet.

Well anyways I wanted to pull Cherry's mane because it looked pretty scraggly. But my mom had said that I wasn't allowed to pull it... so I decided to be partially obedient and, um, trim it.

OH MY GOD I massacred it!!!!

And I didn't want the person that Cherry and I are currently staying with to see *because she told me not to cut it, but to pull it, and she'd never let me live it down. So I braided it so you couldn't really tell. XD

BAHAHA I failed soooo miserably!! Chloe's going to help me fix it today after we ride... lol

So, boys and girls listen to smart people... OMG x)

Trimming a mane always looks like that. You can still pull it and it would look fine.

Pull it, it'll be fine. Either that or take scissors and cut VERTICALLY to make it look more natural.

Tianimalz, How did you teach your horse to bow like that? That is amazing. Looks like she/he has just completed a performance and is receiving applause before the curtain falls.

OP, The good thing is... It is hair and it WILL grow back.

Haha, it'll be fine. I do what equiniphile said when I mess a mane up. Although, when my App was staying at my uncles (non-horse person) because of fence problems we had, he thought it was a great idea to cut my boys forelock completely straight across!!!! He looked ridiculous, and there was no way to fix it, I just had to let it grow out. By the way Thunder has a massive amount of thick beautiful mane, tail and forelock, so I was furious!

It does look good braided though :)
