saw this on craigslist, any one know what kind iti is?

My best guess would be that it is some form of plantation saddle.

I could be wrong, but it looks like an old model of endurance saddles. I've seen some pretty goofy looking ones...

I'm with robs, plantation of some sort but I do like Wenglish.

Looks a bit like an early Ortho-Flex. Does it have flexible panels underneath the tree? They made some proper monstrosities of saddles --enduro-dressage-aussie confusion. Like the one I've ridden in for a squillion years, which does terrible things to your equitation but keeps your horse's back sound.
