Agreed! I've met a few folks in real life, talked on the phone with a few, can say that I have made a lot of new horse friends through the forum. Even the ones I've not truly met, they still feel like friends. There are a lot of folks on here that I would love to have a bonfire and a few drinks with. We wouldn't run out of things to talk about, that's for sure!

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, Take another shot.

I came across it by accident when looking for answers for my horsie questions. Did a lot of reading before joining. I love how helpful everyone is!

Had to look up my first threads so I could remember! I was twelve at the time, and looking for answers regarding my Paso's gaits. Looking back at those posts, I can't even believe it was me! I wouldn't have known what an English saddle was if it hit me in the head.

I know this site and the people on it, I know who's advice to trust and who's to ignore and, even though we have our rough spots, it really does feel a lot like a family here.
I'm in the same boat, smrobs. I'm a member of a few other equine forums that just don't hold my interest, so I primarily use them for the classifieds sections. I try to socialize and get to know the members on other forums, but it's not the same.

Plus, the color scheme here is brighter and happier than other horse forums.

I googled "good horse stories and poems" and the story "dandilions" came up. I read the stories for a couple weeks untill I noticed the rest of the forum because I had only that section saved in my favorites. I didnt join for awhile after that.

Encourage me, and i will not forget you.

I think I joined about something with Dreamer... maybe her thrush? I can't remember. at all. But I have had fun here, I mainly lurk here since I'm a beginner, but I've learned way too much about grooming products and whatnot.. I still use my personal trainer for training/riding critiques tho XD
