My pony secret [Blondeys Cocoa Latte] was my entire life ! We got her from the slaughter house in 2002 and I trained her from the ground up . Soon she became very sore in her front leg and she was un rideable. We spent THOUSANDS of dollars on her trying to get her to be rideable again . Soon it was the choice to sell her or not . Luckly my close friend lives on a farm in tennessee ; and we moved her down there this past february and just this past summer I went down there and rode her ! She's now rideable again . It was the first time I rode her in three years .

    Hello again
I'm FINALLY posting the pics of Lill and Willow I mentioned before if anyones still interested

Here is Lill, my very first horse. She was a total surprise too. One morning I was walking out to the barn with my father to feed the cows, we walked in the barn like usual and all of a sudden I heard a snort! I turned around and there she was, waiting for me in the stall!

I'm just about 6yrs old here..

I don't know what kind of horse she was or anything :(

And here is the appy,Willow...He was such a pretty boy

This is in Jan. Of 1991 so I'm 8yrs old here haha

All of you that still have your first horse/pony are SO Lucky. I'd love to know what ever happened to mine...

My first horse was named Redwood. He was 17.3 hands, thoroughbred. Chestnut. He was so gentle for his size.. I got him when I was 13 on thanksgiving day. 11-11-00 I put him down due to founder. :(

I have a back tattoo in memory of him.

And ... now.... I have to put my other down.... Life is so unfair sometimes!

My first horse was Thomas. A 15hh farm horse ....about 19-20yrs I think. Such a gentle sole too. : )
Got him when I was bout 7-8. But he ended up getting bad arthritus in one of his front legs so had to be put down. Cryed many tears...had him for about 4-5 years I think.
